Refund and Returns Policy

Refunds & Exchanges

We provide a full refund or exchange on items prior to the materials list being sent for cutting and processing. 

There is generally a delay of a few business days from when an order is finalized on our website to when the order is sent to manufacturing. These packages are custom cut and modified at that point, and are no longer able to be refunded once cutting and preparation of the materials has begun, as materials are not able to be returned to the shelf for re-use or able to be re-stocked.

If there are changes to your order or you are requesting a refund, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number. If the order has not been sent to manufacturing, or the order has been sent to manufacturing but has not entered the preparation phase, we will happily grant an exchange or refund. After the manufacturing process has begun, we cannot guarantee a refund or exchange will be available as there is no way to reconstitute the parts, so we ask that you ensure your order is correct prior to purchase.

How long will my refund take?

Once you receive notice that your refund has been approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, usually within 5-7 business days.

Still haven't received your refund?

  • If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
  • Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  • Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
  • If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at support@bdsmdiy.com.

Returns

Due to the nature of the use of these packages and the custom preparation that these products go through prior to being shipped, returns are not available. If your package has been approved for a return, contact us for the shipping address.

Downloadable products are also non-returnable and non-refundable.

Damaged Parts

If the package or items contained in the package are damaged, contact us immediately with your order number, photos of the damage, and any relevant shipping documentation. We will investigate the issue with the manufacturer and shipper. Once we have determined the cause of the damage, we will work to find a mutually acceptable resolution, and send replacement parts as needed. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for the replacement parts to reach you may vary.

Shipping Charges

In most cases, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Once a package or product has been picked up by the shipper, the shipping costs are non-refundable. We require that any returned items be shipped back using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that the shipper will successfully deliver your item.
